The phrase like mother, like daughter really does apply when talking about Heidi Klum and her 17-year-old daughter Leni. On Saturday night, the pair looked more like sisters than mother and daughter while walking the red carpet at the LuisaViaRoma for UNICEF gala in Capri, Italy, and even coordinated in similar looks.
Twinning in sequins, Heidi wore a sparkly silver Eli Saab dress with a thigh-high slit and a one-shoulder silhouette, while her daughter opted for a backless Versace gown in gold with a plunging neckline. Like her mom, Leni finished off her outfit with matching strappy sandals and a sleek blowout.
Post-party, Heidi and Leni posed outside the venue barefoot. "Showing we had fun ….without saying we had fun," Klum captioned the sweet snapshot.
Meanwhile, over on Leni's grid, she showed a behind-the-scenes photo of herself getting ready for the big event.
Earlier this year, Leni followed in her mom's supermodel footsteps and made her Berlin Fashion Week (virtual) debut, wearing looks from designers like Kaviar Gauche, Michael Sontag and Lala Berlin. And just last month, Heidi revealed the advice she gave Leni about modeling.
"I said to her, at the end of the day you have to be happy with yourself," she told People. "And don't do anything you don't want to do. It's okay to say no. You don't always have to please people. But I'm always with Leni. And she has a very good head on her shoulders." She added, "It's really exciting. She's doing the things I was always dreaming to do!"
