In front of 100 of their nearest and dearest, Emmerdale's Amy Walsh and EastEnders'Toby-Alexander Smith tied the knot in a stunning ceremony in Montenegro.

In an exclusive interview with OK!, 36-year-old Amy describes the wedding as the "most perfect day," where the couple were joined by many of their soap co-stars, including Natalie Ann Jamieson, Olivia Bromley and Louisa Clein.

Amy's sister Kimberley Walsh, singer in Girls Aloud, was also in attendance and loaned her their late grandma's ring.

But one castmate that really helped to make their day truly special was Toby's EastEnders' pal Shona McGarty, who performed a surprise duet at the reception.

Amy, 35, and Toby's, 32, first dance was to a live performance by her favourite singer, Sonny Tennet performing his original song Calm Down.

This tune also held another special meaning as it was the one the couple listened to in the labour room just before their daughter Bonnie was born.

But Toby wouldn't let the moment pass without making it even more unforgettable and invited Shona to sing along with Sonny.

“She’s got an incredible voice,” Toby said. “I’d put them in touch beforehand so they had Zoom rehearsals together. It was the duo you never knew you needed.”

Amy also revealed how much they adored Sonny's voice. “Toby and I fell in love with Sonny within our first weeks of seeing each other,” she said of the young singer-songwriter from South Shields, who found fame on TikTok.

“So we’d decided to play his songs as we walked back down the aisle together and for our first dance.”

Another star of the show was Bonnie – who the couple welcomed almost two years ago – who accompanied her dad down the aisle to wait for her mum.

Held in her dad’s arms, Bonnie was the first to spot Amy arriving to take her vows, accompanied down the aisle by her father-of-the- bride John.

“I just couldn’t wait to turn around and see her,” Toby added. “I knew she must have been coming down the steps and that Bonnie had seen her. I was still facing the front, and Bonnie suddenly lit up and said ‘wow’. She was obviously pointing at Amy so I started crying. I said ‘does mummy look gorgeous?’ and she just kept saying ‘wow’.”
