Former Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth has cancelled all remaining dates on his Las Vegas Residency.
Slated to be the 67-year-old’s last-ever public performance, the residency at the House of Blues in Las Vegas have been called off due to “COVID-19 concerns.”
A representative of the venue shared that the concerns primarily revolved around “unforeseen circumstances related to COVID and … an abundance of caution for those working and attending the shows.”
Roth had announced his retirement last year, citing concern from his doctors and handlers, who brought to light the fact that “every time I go onstage, I endanger (my) future.”
Ticketholders for the sold-out shows would be notified directly, the representative added, with no rescheduled dates announced as of yet.
