David Beckham splashed out on a lavish wedding gift for son Brooklyn and daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz, gifting the couple a $500,000 classic Jaguar.

The couple were presented with the pale blue classic car after they got married at Nicola’s billionaire father Nelson’s £70million estate in Palm Beach, Florida on Saturday.

The classic car was re-engineered and converted to an electric vehicle by restoration company Lunaz, a company of which David, 46, is an investor.

David and wife Victoria, 47, were pictured taking the car out for a test drive before presenting it to the newlyweds, who drove in style to their lavish post-wedding brunch.

Brooklyn, 23, and Nicola, 27, sat side-by-side in the vintage blue car as they rocked up to Nicola's parents' Florida mansion for their post-nuptial celebrations.

Evidently sticking to a white theme, the bride had a white ribbon in her flowing blonde ponytail and Brooklyn looked dapper in a cream knitted top.

The couple’s new vehicle aims to be sustainable, with its original polluting engine taken out and an electric motor added in.

David Lorenz, Founder & CEO of Lunaz said: “In creating this beautiful, electrified Jaguar XK140, we are honoured to bridge the gap between David Beckham’s professional life, where he is an investor in Lunaz and his family life.

“This remarkable car is the perfect gift to his son Brooklyn and daughter-in-law, Nicola on their wedding day. In every respect, this extraordinary electric classic car by Lunaz symbolises a bright, positive future.”

The actress wore a stunning Valentino gown for her big day, and was later spotted in a different white dress for their post-wedding brunch.

The beautiful minidress had silver detailing on the skirt and crossed straps on the back, revealing the 27 year old's back.

Nicola completed the look with a pair of white platform shoes.

The happy couple appear to have taken each other’s surnames, as revealed by the double-barrelled last name included with their first official wedding photos from the big day.

While fans were given a look into the bash over the weekend, Brooklyn took to Instagram on Monday to excitedly post the first official picture of himself and his new bride.

In a beautiful black and white photo of the couple, Nicola can be seen gazing lovingly at Brooklyn as he smiles and leads her by the hand.

The star captioned the image: "Mr. & Mrs. Peltz Beckham."

Friends and fans soon shared their joy for the couple in the comments, and among those sending well wishes was Brooklyn's dad's former teammate Phil Neville, who posted two love heart emojis.

Nicola's brother Will Peltz shared the same message, while Paris Hilton wrote: "Congratulations," followed by a champagne bottle emoji and two love hearts.

Brooklyn's younger brother Cruz – who was best man alongside other their sibling Romeo – re-shared the snap on his own Instagram Stories alongside heart emojis.
