The model and TV personality, who suffered a miscarriage back in September 2020, admits that it was ‘very hard’ for her to keep the pregnancy news for so long.
AceShowbiz –Chrissy Teigen is expecting a rainbow baby with her husband John Legend. Nearly two years after suffering a miscarriage, the “Chrissy’s Court” star announced on social media that now she’s pregnant with another child.
Making use of Instagram on Wednesday, August 3, the 36-year-old shared two pictures of her showing off her baby bump in a crop top and lace underwear. She began her caption, “The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again. 1 billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way.”
“Every appointment I’ve said to myself, ‘ok if it’s healthy today I’ll announce’ but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still,” the model added. “I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing. Ok phew it’s been very hard keeping this in for so long!”
The post has since been flooded with congratulatory comments from a number of celebrities. One in particular was Andy Cohen, who gushed, “Mazel !!!! So happy for you.” Kim Zolciak Biermann raved, “Congrats! So happy for you guys.” Katie Couric chimed in, “Congratulations, Chrissy! So happy for you and John!”
Chrissy, who shares daughter Luna and son Miles with John, suffered a miscarriage back in September 2020. She previously disclosed that she was diagnosed with partial placenta abruption, which caused her non-stop bleeding as she approached the 20-week mark, and the moment doctors confirmed their son Jack would not survive.
In February this year, the “Bring the Funny” judge confirmed that she was undergoing IVF treatment. “hiiii. I posted about it in my stories, but I wanted to let you guys know I’m balls deep in another IVF cycle to save as many eggos as I possibly can and hopefully make some strong, healthy embryos,” she declared at that time.
“I honestly don’t mind the shots…they make me feel like a doctor/chemist…but the bloating is a b***h,” the TV personality continued. “so I humbly beg you to stop asking if I’m pregnant because while I know it’s said with excited, good intentions, it just kind of sucks to hear because I am the opposite of pregnant!”
