Every day in lockdown feels like Groundhog Day at the moment.
But now, fans of the film can further immerse themselves by booking a stay in the very B&B in which Bill Murray’s character Phil Connors lodges.
The venue – now known as the Cherry Tree Inn – was used for exterior shots in the movie and is actually found in Illinois, despite the 1993 film being set in Pennsylvania.
As well as a gorgeous exterior, the B&B boasts four en suite guest rooms on the second floor and one en suite first-floor room with a private entrance.
But if you want to enjoy the street view seen in the movie then you’ll need to book the Magnolia Suite.
Rooms at the Cherry Tree Inn start from $170 (£125) a night and can be booked via Airbnb.
The listing reads: ‘Relax in our famous and historic Victorian B&B where your enjoyment and comfort is our priority.
‘A fully restored home with all modern amenities. Enjoy great locally sourced food prepared by a wonderful cook every day.
‘You may recognise this house from Groundhog Day where Bill Murray stayed. Same house yet anything but stuffy and repetitive.’
If the reviews are anything to go by, guests will not be left disappointed.
One reviewer gushed: ‘This place is a gem. The town is a dream… the room I stayed in has a great view from the bay window featured in Groundhog Day.
‘The house is gorgeous with a beautiful wrap-around porch. Great place to eat the delicious breakfast prepared for you every morning. Great coffee.
‘If I had to live the same day over and over again… I would want it to be in this place.’
