TUI is launching brand new direct flights to a popular winter sun destination.
It will be the first time Brits can travel directly there from the UK.
The new flights will connect the Egyptian resort of Luxor to Manchester Airport.
Popular holiday destinations in the country currently include Sharm el Sheikh and Hurghada, both beachside resorts.
However, Luxor is also popular with tourists as it is home to popular attractions including the Valley of the Kings.
And the TUI flights will be part of the new River Nile cruises, setting sail from November 2024.

One of the main attractions is Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III in the 14th century BC.
On the opposite side of the bank, you’ll find the Valley of the Kings, where the mummies of pharaohs were buried with their jewels and supplies to get them through the afterlife.
The highlight is Tutankhamun’s tomb, the discovery of which shot British archaeologist Howard Carter to fame in 1922.
