FAMILIES heading to the beach this summer have been swearing by a £17 gadget which is the "best little item ever".
Not only is it easy to pack, but many are saying it makes a holiday easier and safer.
The beach umbrella hanging hook, created by beach umbrella designer Ammsun, lets you hang your items up while on holiday.
The four-pronged hook is slid onto the umbrella pole, which then can hold everything from wet clothes to bags and valuables.
It is then screwed on to make it tight so it can hold a lot of weight without slipping down.
Not only does this mean you can dry your clothes, but it also stops everything getting sandy.
The item is highly rated on Amazon, with more than 2,300 reviews, most of which are praising it.
One reviewer said he had two – one for beach clothes and one for personal items, which he said: "One of the best features of this little gadget is that it is placed high on the umbrella post and is completely invisible to anyone walking past your umbrella.
"You would have to step UNDER the umbrella and look UP to notice anyone has valuables stored there, and, if clothes are hung over the valuables, they would of course be completely out of sight."
Another said it was the "best piece of plastic" ever bought: "This is a must have for your beach umbrella. Hang your music device, cover-up and towel up out of the sand."
The item is just $7.86 on Amazon, although this is only in the US.
However, we have found it in the UK for £17.97 which you can buy here.
Even better, it is small enough to go in your hand luggage when going on holiday abroad.
