HUNDREDS of Trainline customers were left unable to use the app following a second outage this month.
Here we take a look at the latest reports and what Trainline has said in response.
Why isn't the Trainline app working?
According to Downdetector, a site which manages outages and provides live alerts, hundreds of users of the Trainline app have experienced issues today (Tuesday, November 7, 2023).
It is not clear what exactly caused the outage.
However, over 60 per cent of users reported problems directly affecting the app, while 30% experienced difficulties with ticketing.
Following the fast flow of reports, a number of Trainline customers rushed to social media to explain the issues they had experienced.

On November 3, 2023, Trainline took to social media to advise customers of an earlier outage.
The post read: ''We're experiencing technical difficulties on our app and website which means some customers may be unable to search for or book rail and coach journeys.
''We're very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause however please be assured we're working hard to fix it.''
The Trainline app is designed to allow customers the opportunity to plan their journey ahead.
It provides live train times in one place, as well as ticket information and prices and live disruption alerts.
When will the Trainline app be back up?
Following the vast amount of reports made via both Downdetector and social media, Trainline first confirmed that they were working to fix the issue.
Responding to a customer on X, formerly known as Twitter, a post read: ''Hi there, we're experiencing technical difficulties on our app and website. We're very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause however please be assured we're working hard to fix it.''
However, since informing customers of the issue, Trainline have confirmed that ''this has since been resolved.''
Those who use the app have been advised to reinstall it on their device if they are still experiencing issues.
Customers affected by any problems or outages are advised to keep an eye out on both Trainline's social media platforms and website for more information as it is released.
Trainline also provides an option for app and website users to contact the customer service team.
You can do this via email, phone or online chat.
