BRIT holidaymakers are being given the chance to take a UK holiday for£1.50.

Pasty-makers Ginsters are offering two-night stays for up to four people in four destinations across the UK.

The locations have been cherry-picked because of their likeness to international destinations that inspired some of the company's most well-known bakes, including the Philly Cheese Steak.

Each place was selected by Luke Jackson, a Hollywood film and TV location scout who has worked on films like Layer Cake.

Brits looking for a bargain seaside break can either choose to stay in Brighton or Portmeirion.

The company chose Brighton because of its likeness to New Orleans, and Portmeirion has been picked because of its resemblance to the Italian Riviera and the Amalfi Coast.
