BRITS flying with British Airways are warned they must still wear face masks if they are travelling to 50 destinations.
The airline announced it was scrapping its mandatory mask policy earlier this month if passengers are heading to a country where face coverings aren't compulsory.
BA has now updated its website and states that if Brits are flying to one of 50 countries, then they still need to wear a face mask.
Countries include popular holiday destinations Spain, France, Italy, the US, Greece, Cyprus and Turkey.
On the BA website, it states: "Where we are unsure or have not been able to clarify the local restrictions, we will still require you to wear face coverings and we ask that you continue to carry masks with you for the duration of your journey."
The airline added that if face masks aren't compulsory in any destinations they fly to, then passengers won't need to wear one onboard.

The website continued: "For destinations where we have established that the wearing of a face covering is not mandated, you are able to make a personal choice and we kindly request everyone respects each other's preferences."
The airline has not yet shared a full list of destinations where flyers won't need to wear masks onboard.
Sun Online Travel has contacted BA for additional comment.
Other airlines have also announced they are scrapping mandatory face masks on their flights.

Jet2, TUI and easyJet have all relaxed their mask policies, leaving it up to passengers to make a personal choice on whether or not to wear one.
Ryanair is expected to follow suit, as boss Michael O'Leary announced the budget airline is likely to drop masks in spring.
Heathrow Airport has also ditched its mask rule, so travellers no longer need to wear face coverings in terminals.
Holiday destinations are also scrapping compulsory face masks, in a boost to Brits heading off on their hols.
People in France don't need to wear masks, unless they are using public transport or visiting care homes.

Visitors in the Maldives also don't need to wear a face covering, although they are advised to if they are in crowded places or have flu-like symptoms.
Spain is expected to ditch masks too, with experts saying it could happen in the coming weeks.
