BRITISH Airways has released new flight-only deals for this summer.

Destinations include 38 European hotspots from £39 each way and many long-haul holidays to the US and Mexico from £405 return.

The European flights include hand luggage allowance, wifi and free snacks on board.

The cheapest deal we've found is to Alicante in Spain, with one-way tickets costing from £34.

Alternatively, you could also head to a city break in Barcelona from £42 each way this summer.

Here are some of the best deals we've found for flights to Europe:

  • Corfu, Greece – from £70 each way 
  • Dalaman, Turkey – from £70 each way 
  • Faro, Portugal – from £43 each way 
  • Gibraltar – from £45 each way 
  • Paphos, Greece – from £95 each way
  • Tenerife, Spain – from £76 each way 

If you don't mind travelling further, plenty of US flight-only deals are available.

The biggest bargain we've found this summer is return flights to Los Angels, costing from £392.

We've also seen some good deals for theme park lovers, with return flights to Orlando costing from £405.

If you're after a longer adventure, the flag carrier offers 'multi-city' and 'round the world' packages.

The round the world offers three types of holidays; the 'oneworld Explorer', a continent-based fare and 'Global Explorer', a distance-based fare.

While the 'Circle Pacific' is an inter-continental journey to explore different continents.

On all flights, passengers can check in up to ten bags weighing no more than 23kg (for economy and premium economy tickets) and 32kg (for business and first class), measuring no more than 90cm x 75cm x 43cm.

Prices start from £20 for the first bag (for hand baggage only tickets) and £60 for any additional bags, depending on the size, destination and departing airport.
