It doesn’t take a die hard Friends superfan to notice the mistake with this children's sweater.

TK Maxx have launched a cute pink Friends-themed jumper as part of their collection which features the names of leading roles, Monica, Joey, Chandler, Phoebe and Rachel but no sign of the beloved Ross.

Yep, you heard us right, TK Maxx have missed David Schwimmer's famous character and we’ve got no idea how or why it's happened!

However, it was a self-confessed Friends super fan who spotted the baffling mistake as she browsed the TK Maxx website looking for a birthday present for her daughter, who is also a huge Friends follower.

The shopper from Shropshire said : ”My daughter likes Friends. I was a Friends super fan. Myself and my family watched it every week and had the boxsets.

"You just know there's three pairs [of characters]. Three boys, three girls. It makes you wonder how it got through quality control. It must be a load of people 10 or 15 years younger than me because anyone my age would instantly recognise it's wrong.

"I guess younger people have maybe seen a few episodes and know it's big, but certainly don't know it like the people who grew up with it in the nineties.

"It must be people who know Friends the second time round who have okayed it. I think it's low price and in clearance because it's a mistake.”

She shared a picture of the £12.99 jumper on social media which gained hundreds of comments and reactions from fans who also couldn’t believe what they were seeing.

Despite appearing in all 236 episodes of the nine part series, TK Maxx clearly didn’t believe Ross Geller was good enough to make the cut on their merchandise.
