Families in the UK could receive free money to help pay for food and other things.
The money will help struggling households with surging energy bills, as well as tax increases.
Household Support Fund has been giving out financial aid to help cash-strapped Brits get by since October last year.
Many had closed off their schemes by the time March had rolled through this year.
But a shake-up announced in Chancellor Rishi Sunak's Spring Statement meant another £500million was added to the pot.
It means more families and low income households could benefit.

The money has been given to local councils who decides how to divide up the funds between those who need it the most.
More councils are set to dish out their own Household Support Fund grants, but some could wait until September to claim.
Other help is available to more cash-strapped families so struggling Brits don't have to miss out.
Also people paying council tax could get their bill reduced, from 25% to 100% off.
Reductions are available for those on low-incomes, people claiming certain benefits and those caring for others.
It comes as anyone living in Council Tax bands A-D will see £150 land in their bank accounts thanks to the tax rebate.
Later in the year, households could get £200 off their energy bills in a similar rebate.
And some energy customers can apply for a grant worth up to £750 to help with their energy bills too.
