Russell Simmons and Kimora Lee’s daughter, Aoki, blew off steam after blasting her father for allegedly verbally abusing her family in an emotional social media post.
On Monday, Aoki, 20, attended the Black to Africa Foundation’s Juneteenth soiree, that was also a 50th year of hip-hop celebration at Zero Bond.
Spies caught her dancing the night away with other celeb offspring including Lauryn Hill’s daughter, Selah Marley, and Idris Elba’s daughter, Isan.
Fashion designer Maxwell Osborne hosted the event with Marley and Isan.
An insider told Page Six that Aoki was planning to cancel, but she didn’t want her beef with her father to ruin Juneteenth.
And it didn’t.
“She was in a great mood. She partied it up with Isan,” a spy told us.
Zero Bond regular Mayor Eric Adams even stopped by — but Hizzoner uncharacteristically opted out of posing for photos, we’re told.
“He was there for only a few minutes, said hello to a few people, and left,” a source said.
Meanwhile, Aoki dried off her tears and stunned in a blue and black gown.
The model had blasted her hip hop pioneer dad earlier in the day, claiming that he cut her off, and “hasn’t given [me] a dime in years,” according to an Instagram Live clip.
She further claimed that he threatened to ruin her modeling career, and her chances for a job in entertainment.
Aoki, who recently graduated from Harvard, also said she stopped speaking to her famous father, because their communication had been, “giving [her] panic attacks to the point [she] was placed on emergency medication every time [they] spoke.”
Russell, 65, apologized on Monday, telling both of his daughters in a post that he’s “DEEPLY sorry for being frustrated and yelling… but know this… there are no conditions… for sure I love you guys more than I love myself.”
Reps for the family did not comment.
The Simmons’ family feud kicked off on Father’s Day after Russell and Kimora Lee’s eldest daughter, Ming, 23, wished her mom a happy holiday on social media.
Def Jam co-founder Russell seemingly fired back by posting a message saying, “Stop telling fathers they should have fought harder to see their children [and] start asking mothers why he had to fight at all.”
He also posted the words, “The father you have is the perfect father for the evolution of your soul and the lessons that you needed to learn in this lifetime.”
