Tyson Fury and his wife Paris are keeping all of us entertained with their hit Netflix documentary At Home With The Fury's.
In it, they and their six children, Venezuela, 13, Prince John James, 12, Prince Tyson II, seven, Prince Adonis Amaziah, four, Valencia, five, and Athena, two, lift the lid on their family life. A seventh child is going to be welcomed to their family in September.
One of the more unexpected things from the show that viewers have noticed is Tyson's very husky voice. While many thought he'd always spoken that way and like his dad John, it turns out he hasn't.
There are clips of him out there with a higher voice, for example at a press conference in 2008. Now, he's revealed the specific reason for the huskier tones he now has in an interview with the MMA.
It turns out he was punched in the throat during a sparring session with light-heavyweight fighter Ty Mitchell in 2015 which caused a blood clot and wreaked havoc with his vocal cords.
He explained to Ariel Helwani: "It wasn't always like this though, this isn't my original voice. If you go back and look at interviews from like 2010 onwards right up until about 2016, I didn't have this voice.
"One of my good friends, Ty Mitchell… We were sparring and he hit me in the throat real hard and I developed a blood clot in my throat.
He added: "It messed around with my vocal words so this is why I talk like this now… Some would say it's quite sexy, I've been told."
Tyson also talks about his changing voice during At Home With The Fury's. Paris also discusses his old voice, describing it as 'soft and delicate.'
She revealed that before he was punched in the throat, he used to be able to sing very high songs. The revelation about Tyson's voice comes after he and Paris had a candid chat with OK! about fame.
Tyson admitted that fame comes with a price and it's not always easy being in the public eye. He says: "I solemnly believe there’s a lot to be said for having a normal life.
"No-one expects anything, no-one wants anything from you, nobody is all over you. You don’t have to please anyone. Sometimes I hate the fact I have no privacy. I don’t have a life of my own, my life belongs to everyone else."
The Gypsy King reveals that everyday things become much harder when you are famous. He explains: "When you try to go to Greggs for a sandwich, it’s not great being bombarded. Or when you're trying to buy a pair of trainers from a sports shop, you've just got people hanging all over you."
As a father-of-six, soon to be seven kids, he also craves quality time alone with his wife, but even on date night if fans are around that can be hard to come by.
"People don’t always respect your privacy. I'm with my wife on a date night and I don’t want to speak to a million people. Sometimes I just need fans to leave me alone.
"If anyone walked in my shoes for a few months they’d realise they don’t really want my life. It just looks good from the outside," Tyson says.
