It may have only been two weeks since former Love Island star Maura Higgins wowed fans with her daring new bob, but she’s already changed her look up again – and this time with some extra-long hair extensions.

Maura originally showed off her new blunt, choppy bob at the premiere of Creed 3 just two weeks ago, where she had swapped her usual sleek long locks for a textured bob that stopped above her shoulders and featured a full fringe that was also cut into a blunt style.

However, celebrity hairstylist Carl Bembridge shared a photo on Saturday that showed Maura with dramatic extra-long extensions, and the look couldn’t be more different from her blunt bob.

In the series of photos simply captioned “INCHES”, Maura has extensions that reach the top of her thighs in a range of dark and chocolate brown tones. The fringe is long gone, and instead a sleek centre parting with extra long layers is in its place.

Maura’s signature curls are also gone, and instead her extensions are poker straight and glossy, giving a dramatic high fashion look. The photos look to have been taken for an editorial, which means we may well be seeing yet another new look from Maura soon.

The model and presenter is no stranger to a dramatic makeover, and has experimented with a whole host of different styles and hair lengths since her time on Love Island in 2019. More recently, Maura had been embracing her natural curls, and had opted for curtain bangs and a mid-length cut as she spent time in Dubai.

Fans were quick to praise both Carl and Maura in the comment section, with one person replying: “Love the hair Carl” whilst another commented: “Maura is beautiful”. Maura was styled in an open white shirt, with black leather and blue denim trousers and a black and blue bra for the photos.

In the past, Maura has revealed she swears by extensions from Beauty Works, and was often seen with long, waist-length locks achieved by the brand’s range of clip in extensions. She has also been known to experiment with wigs as a way of changing up her look temporarily, from her shorts white blonde bob at the Revolve Festival to clip in fringes for a quick makeover.

Some fans had even speculated that her dramatic bob makeover at the premiere was also a wig, with one follower saying: “No blooody wayyyyy!!! only women who can pull of every wig style possible”.

One thing’s for sure; we know it won’t be long before she debuts another dramatic look.
