Love Island has only just returned, but we're already obsessed with this year's singletons hoping to find love this summer. One of which is heartthrob, Mitchel Taylor, who already has his eyes on Molly Marsh after the public voted the pair to be coupled up.

They have since hit it off with their continuous banter and flirtatious comments to each other, even sharing their first kiss while cosied up in bed. But it might not be as smooth as it seems as Mitchel decides to invite Molly to the notorious Love Island terrace for some alone time during Wednesday night's episode.

Keen to know what Mitchel has up his sleeve, Molly says: "What have you got to tell me?". Are cracks beginning to show or is the islander ready to make Molly his girl already?

The 26 year old hails from Sheffield and entered the villa on Monday where he declared he was "ready to find love". When he's not looking for love, Mitchell can be found pumping iron at the gym or working as a gas engineer.

As well as this, he can often be seen enjoying a night out or spending time with his friends on holiday. A keen traveller, Mitchel has jetted off to the likes of Munich, Marbella, Prague, London, Italy, Budapest, Andalusia, and South Africa.

His Instagram account boasts a number of hunky selfies, gym workouts or times spent out with his friends. He currently has 18.1K followers, which is likely to increase dramatically the longer he is on the show.

Soon after viewers were introduced to Mitchel on this year's summer series of the ITV dating show, they couldn't help but compare him to a previous contestant and labelled him a "spitting image". They were quick to notice some similarities between the gas engineer and 2022 Love Island contestant and finalist Luca Bish.

"Luca Bish is Mitchel’s long lost twin," wrote one viewer on Twitter. While another joked, "Can someone make sure Mitchel isn’t Luca in disguise #LoveIsland." A third agreed: "Is Mitchel a Luca Bish lookalike?"

Others saw a resemblance to 2018 contestant Jack Fincham though, insisting that Mitchel is a hybrid of both islanders. Singer Jake Quickenden even got involved and wrote: "Man this looks like Luca and Jack Fincham if they had a kid."

Mitchel is in good company with Luca and Jack as they both reached the final of their seasons – the latter even winning the show with ex-girlfriend Dani Dyer. While they landed girlfriends with famous connections too, as Luca left the villa alongside Gemma Owen, daughter of footballer Michael Owen, and Jack with Dani Dyer, whose dad is actor Danny.
