Jenna Jameson gives health update amid hospitalization for mystery illness

Jenna Jameson wants fans to know that she is not paralyzed.

After previously revealing that she’s battling a mystery illness that’s left her unable to stand on her own, the adult film star clarified she’s “able to move” her legs and “not paralyzed” in a video posted to her Instagram Story on Monday.

”I am just dealing with extreme muscle weakness. Some issues with my left nerve,” Jameson shared, adding that she’s “slowly” building back her strength.

“I am walking around — with a walker. My legs have lost a lot of muscle so I am busy trying to build it back,” she continued. “This has been not only physically taxing but I think, more than that, just really mentally challenging. Very mentally challenging.”

Jameson further explained that while her diagnosis remains unclear, the issue stems from her left femoral nerve, which runs from the hip down to above the knee and controls the surrounding muscles.

Despite the physical challenges, she said she isn’t giving up and will fight through, calling the situation “messy” and “mentally challenging.”

“I am fighting, I am kicking a–, I am taking names and soon I will be back up on my feet unaided, and life will be back to normal,” she said.

“I mean, as normal as I can be.”

Jameson was hospitalized earlier this year for nearly two months with an unknown illness.

She was misdiagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome, but doctors have since ruled that out.

Earlier this month, Jameson said she was bedridden and gave another update that she was using a walker to help her get around.

She thanked her partner Lior Bitton at the time for sticking by her side and being strong for the both of them during her ongoing health struggle.

“He is doing as well as expected, he’s a really strong guy. But this is a scary situation and so far he is just kicking a– for me,” she said. “He’s just been picking up where I have dropped off with all this health stuff. I’m a lucky woman.”

Jameson and Bitton share 4-year-old daughter Batel Lu. She also shares 13-year-old twin sons, Journey and Jesse, with ex Tito Ortiz.
