Emmerdale star Roxy Shahidi is best known for appearing as Leyla Harding on the ITV soap – but the actress is also a talented yoga instructor.

The 37 year old has given a sneak peek inside her home through her YouTube yoga classes on her channel, YogaRox, which has garnered 5,500 subscribers.

Roxy, who has starred in the soap on and off since 2008, lives in Nottingham with her actor husband Arsher Ali and their daughter, who the couple welcomed in 2018.

The brunette beauty often films her yoga tutorials in her stunning living room which features white-painted floorboards, an exposed brick fireplace and a huge sliding sash window to flood the room with natural light.

Roxy has added a splash of colour to the space with a '60s-inspired navy leather swivel chair along with a dark red patterned rug and unique prints above the fireplace.

The mum of one has also draped an ivy plant over the side of the mantlepiece to add a splash of green to the space.

Roxy has also given fans a peek inside her other living space, which features a retro mustard sofa and collection of plants next to a standing lamp with an amber filament bulb to provide a warm glow.

The actress is also a fan of hosting her YouTube videos in another room which boasts natural wooden floorboards and traditional oak beams.

We can also see that Roxy has added a deep red Persian rug to her front room which has a gorgeous bay window and grey walls to offset the white skirting and picture rail.

Roxy and Arsher tied the knot in 2010 and also welcomed Kaya the German Shepherd into their family November 2020.

The actress is currently involved in a stalker storyline on the ITV soap with her character targeted over the last few months.

Roxy keeps her little girl out of the spotlight and revealed in 2017 how she was “absolutely terrified” when she discovered she was pregnant.

Speaking to OK!, she said: "We had only been trying for a few weeks and I was sure it was going to take us much longer!
