Carly Knight from Los Angeles regularly posts content to Instagram and TikTok with her detailing her elaborate wardrobe looks from times gone by.
She also reveals how she meticulously styles her hair and does her make-up in keeping with various decades.
To create her retro characters, from a red dress-wearing Miss Scarlett from Clue to a serious looking Queen Victoria, Carly says she raids thrift shops.

She told Yahoo that she probably owns around 200 vintage outfits.
Some of her favorite pieces include a 1950s prom dress, a 1930s prairie dress and a ’40s little white everyday pants.’
She also has her grandma’s red belt and a dress belonging to her grandma from the 1940s.
And Carly’s love of vintage isn’t just confined to her wardrobe.
Her home is also adorned with retro pieces, from a 1920s rocking chair to a functioning 1940s wartime era jukebox.
While she appears in most of her posts alone, in some of her videos Carly’s boyfriend Jeffrey McGehee gets involved.

Her grandparents collected antique Teddy bears, while her father has been obsessed with vintage since she was born.
She explained: ‘He’s been dragging me to flea markets, random men from Craigslist’s houses, and the whole work since I was a baby.’
When it comes to what lures her towards vintage items, Carly says the ‘craftsmanship and quality’ back then was much better than it is today.
She explains: ‘I love that things back in the day were made with a purpose, and they were made with love.
‘And they hold that same love and feeling today. So when I see things in my household, I can almost imagine all the memories that were made with them back in the day.’
The blonde started wearing vintage clothes two years ago and has since built a loyal following on social media with fans giving her looks the thumbs up.
Currently she has more than 730,000 followers on TikTok and over 200,000 on Instagram.
In her latest TikTok, Carly gets her dog involved in her daily dress up. The pooch appears dressed ‘like a colonial grandma’ complete with a bonnet ‘because it suits her so well.’
