Alec Baldwin formally charged with involuntary manslaughter over ‘Rust’ shooting

Hilaria Baldwin honored her husband Alec on his 65th birthday by sharing a loved-up snap of them with their seven children.

The yoga instructor, 39, who has been putting on a united front since her hubby was slapped with involuntary manslaughter charges for the 2021 death of Halyna Hutchins, penned a heartfelt message to her beau on his special day.

“A photo of our wildness, just as we are. May this year bring you peace, health, and happiness,” she wrote alongside the sweet Instagram snap. “We feel lucky to be by your side…through all of it ❤️. Happy birthday, Alec—we love you.”

In the snap, the “It’s Complicated” star sports a slimmed-down, unshaven look as he grins at the camera.

Doting mom Hilaria, meanwhile, is looking away from the camera at the pair’s youngest child, whom they welcomed in September 2022.

The pair are proud parents to Carmen, 9, Rafael, 7, Leonardo, 6, Romeo, 4, Eduardo, 2, María, 1, and Ilaria, 5 months.

Alec also shares 27-year-old daughter Ireland Baldwin, who is currently expecting her first child, with ex-wife Kim Basinger.

It comes as Alec recently made his first court appearance for his involuntary manslaughter charge in the fatal “Rust” shooting.

Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, 42, was fatally shot on the movie set outside Sante Fe, N.M., on Oct. 21, 2021, after Baldwin’s prop gun discharged a live round and struck her in the chest.

The dad of eight was initially facing up to five years in prison, but he scored a major legal victory when the Santa Fe District Attorney’s Office announced they were dropping the gun enhancement charge against him.

However, the “30 Rock” star still faces a charge of involuntary manslaughter for the shooting, which would carry a lesser sentence of 18 months if convicted.

Before his formal charges, Baldwin denied any responsibility for Hutchins’ death and argued that he didn’t even pull the prop gun’s trigger.

The gun enhancement charge was also dropped against the movie’s armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed.

Alec settled a wrongful death lawsuit with Hutchins’ family last year before filing a negligence suit against four crew members.

His complaint alleged that several crew members failed to maintain safety on set by handing him the loaded gun.
