Appearing on the show, Korben said he was ‘so glad’ he was having the chance to wear the outfit for a second time.
He explained: ‘Well I’ve always been very feminine, loved dresses, playing with Barbies. When I was 12, that’s when I was like, “I want to go to prom in a dress, a suits just not for me.”
‘Thanks to Mum and our lovely friend Kirke, who made the dress, we made it happen.’
He continued: ‘It was inspired by Billy Porter’s Met Gala look a few years ago.’
Meanwhile his mother Nina said: ‘We were so excited about it because he didn’t tell anyone.

Nina captioned her images: ‘At age 12, my son announced he wanted to go to his school prom in a gown. Four years later we made it happen’
‘It was a bit of a secret but the teachers knew he wasn’t going to be in a bog standard suit. I wanted to make it so special for him and I’m so proud of him for being true to himself.’
She continued: ‘The most amazing bit for me was the reaction when he got out the car. Everyone cheered and clapped and to feel that level of acceptance just means so much.
‘There are children out there who don’t get that support. It’s so important to me that we let our children be who they are.
‘If you allow them to be who they are, you get the best out of them.’
