BBC’s The Traitors has been described as the Highland Hunger Games, and since it landed on our screens, we’ve been obsessed, just like the rest of the UK.
To recap, the hit game show is hosted by Strictly’s Claudia Winkleman and stars 22 contestants who have signed themselves up for a series of psychological mind games.
Set ina grand Scottish castle, Claudia begins by selecting a small group of people to be ‘traitors’, while the remaining members are ‘faithfuls.’ Throughout the show, the ‘faithfuls’ will be eliminated as they are ‘killed off’ by their unknown enemies.
And plot twist – if the ‘traitors’ identities become revealed, they will be ‘banished’ by one of the ‘faithfuls.’
One of the contestants who has become popular amongst viewers is property agent, Aaron Evans from Portsmouth.
Chatting about what he thought he could bring to the game, the 24 year old said: “I've got a background in sales, so I'll be able to read people quite well.
"Body language, personality, that aspect. I'm also quite a happy chappy so I reckon I won't be too intense. I'll bring quite a lot of energy to the game."
Since joining the cast, his social media following has grown quite a bit, but what else do we know about his life off-screen?
By the looks of things, Aaron is quite the family man, as amongst promo shots from the show, he’s shared lots of pics of him with his family on his Instagram. In a photo from 2019, where he’s joking around and showing off his muscles, the reality star looks the absolute twin of his brother.
“Realising your younger brother is bigger than you but not accepting it,” he captioned the post as the pair pose next to each other (while looking identical) and then with their parents.
It also looks as though Aaron is super into fitness as well, as he’s got a highlight on his Instagram dedicated to the gym. From snaps of him posing working out, to videos of him lifting weights, it seems the 24 year old takes looking after his health quite seriously.
According to his bio, he’s also plant based, and seems to enjoy plenty of tropical getaways, too. From shots of him island-hopping in Thailand to freediving in Marbella, Aaron lives quite the adventurer’s life, and he’s documented many of these moments on his social media.
Perhaps the love of a challenge and something new is the exact reason he signed up for The Traitors?
