And content creator Cassandra Bischoff, from Cohasset, Minnesota, reignited the discussions once again after taking to TikTok to claim the window seat is the most stressful.
She argued that sitting closest to the window on flights gave her ‘raging anxiety’ – but the claim has caused quite the stir on social media.
Commenters were left split with some agreeing that it made them feel ‘trapped,’ but others insisting that ‘window is the only right answer.’

In the video, which has so far been viewed more than 658,000 times, Cassandra can be seen sitting in the seat closest to the window.
She sips from Starbucks cup as she gives the camera a look of disapproval.
She overlaid the clip with Taylor Swift’s Anti Hero before adding a caption that read: ‘Idk about anyone else but I am not a window seat gal.
‘Because the fact that I have to make two strangers get up so I can pee gives me raging anxiety.’
Cassandra concluded: ‘Aisle seat for life.’
And the video sent the internet into a frenzy as commenters rushed to weigh in on the debate.
