Oprah owns about 780 acres of land in Hawaii and the views on her estate are incredibly picturesque from any angle. Oprah first purchased two plots of land in Maui buying 23.7 acres of land in 2003 for $5.3 million; however she has amassed a total of $60 million worth of land when she expanded her estate to about 163 acres.
2 Jeff Bezos
On June of 2021, it was reported that Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has purchased 14 acres of land in Hawaii for about $78 million. The duo have reportedly purchased a tropical estate in Hawaii which land has a lot of structures which sums up to about 4,500 square foot of the main house and about 1,700 square foot were allocated for the guest house. Both of the buildings on the estate are in Hawaiian plantation style.
1 Mark Zuckerberg
Mark Zuckerberg and wife Priscilla Chan just bought 600 acres of land in the Hawaiian island of Kauai which added to the land they already purchased back in 2014 which is about 700 acres of property. Their first estate on the Hawaiian Island costs around $100 million while the one they bought March of last year is about $53 million. Since 2014, the locals have been adamantly against Mark Zuckerberg owning a piece of land in Kauai. The couple then promises that they would protect the native wildlife on the island and will keep the space open to the public.
