Bella (Courtney Miller) and Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) have had their relationship tested in recent weeks as Nikau’s modelling career takes off and he spends time away from her on photoshoots, while she focuses on her photography internship and an upcoming exhibition with Emmett (JR Reyne).

On opening night for the exhibition preview, Nikau is running late in the city and Sienna (Rose Riley) uses the couple’s separation to her advantage, luring him to her apartment and sending Allegra (Laura McDonald) to the event instead.

Once there, Allegra swipes Bella’s phone from the bar and begins texting Nikau as if she’s Bella, saying the exhibition is starting later and there’s no need to rush. Later on, she sees Bella and Emmett talking outside, faces close together, and expertly engineers a photo.

Meanwhile, in the apartment, Nikau is fretting about getting to Bella when Sienna receives a photo message from Allegra. Looking ‘crestfallen’, she shows a heartbroken Nikau a photo of what looks like Bella and Emmett about to kiss.

Sienna seizes her chance to pounce on a vulnerable Nikau, going in for a kiss and luring him to the bedroom.

In the morning, Nikau wakes up next to his boss and realises what a huge mistake he’s made. How is he possibly going to explain this to Bella?
