Bella (Courtney Miller) has been struggling to find a quiet place to work lately, due to the Parata place and her flat with Dean (Patrick O’Connor) being filled with people constantly.

However, she manages to start working in the Diner and opens her email to receive surprising news.

A photo she entered into a photography competition won the top prize – and she has been invited to attend a glamorous awards ceremony.

When Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) asks to see the winning photo, he is stunned to find that it’s an intimate snap of him sleeping. 

When he tries to voice his concerns, Bella doesn’t understand why he’s annoyed. He makes it clear that he’s not happy Bella entered a photo of him into a competition without his consent, and Dean overhears the conversation. 

Dean speaks with Nikau and reminds him that Bella’s had few happy moments in recent months. Nikau realises he needs to suck it up and instead offers his support to Bella, with the pair excitedly heading to the awards ceremony that evening.

The next morning, the pair are happy after a great night out and Bella shows off her award to everyone. She then receives a phone call from a woman who was at the ceremony. To her confusion, she says she’s from a top modelling agency and wants to speak to Nikau immediately.

Nikau is stunned when she says she can offer him work as a male model in the city…will he accept?
