Happy World Cocktail Day!

That’s May 13, FYI.

We’re going to celebrate in the most obvious way: cocktails.

Whether you pick up a mixed drink to enjoy at home or manage to book an outdoor space for a bev, today is the day to get sipping.

We’ve rounded up the best places to grab a cocktail today and beyond.

Bar 31 at the Shangri-La

Craving an Aperol Spritz fix? London’s Bar 31 has transformed its ground-floor outdoor space into an Aperol Terrazza, offering seven varieties of the chic Italian aperitif.

These include fruity Aperol Al Mango or Aperol Con Pompelmo (grapefruit), £11 each. Saluti! bar31.com

Speakeasy At Home

Bringing together drinks from three of London’s best bars — Nightjar, Swift and Oriole — the innovative, monthly-changing recipes include Nightjar’s Etruscan Negroni (with Ginepraio gin and Masso Delle Fate vermouth) and Oriole’s Kagoshima Sling (with Haku vodka, cherry liqueur and mulberry wine).

From £15 for 220ml (serves two) or £30 for 500ml (serves five), subscriptions from £40 a month, speakeasyathome.co.uk

Regal Rogue x Brewdog

Booze supremo Brewdog has teamed up with fashionable vermouth brand Regal Rogue to create a limited-edition series of ready-to-drink cocktails.

Brewdog’s own LoneWolf gin features in the likes of its Bold Wolf Negroni and Paw Star Martini, delivered in a beautifully illustrated box. £20.95 for four pouches, brewdog.co.uk

Two Keys

This summer’s hottest drink is set to be the Paloma, a Mexican tequila and grapefruit-based cocktail.

Mixer brand Two Keys has created the perfect party box, which includes eight bottles of its pink grapefruit mixer, a bottle of Patrón Silver, crisps and a Paloma Pong game. £64.95, twokeysldn.co.uk

Thomas Tipple

Specialising in cocktails in a can, Thomas Tipple’s range of premixed drinks covers classics with a twist, like raspberry bellinis.

The company has launched a new Aperitif Spritz, an Italian-style beverage containing wine, vermouth, mandarin and grapefruit peel (no-alcohol version also available). Pack of four x 250ml £25, thomastipple.com or from £3.50 at select independent retailers
