McDonald’s wants to give fans a “little lift this Monday” and has unveiled its newest weekly offer. Customers need to have downloaded the app to claim the discounts but could save themselves 30 percent on breakfast or lunch.
This week, customers can tuck into a Bacon Roll for breakfast and pay just £1.99.
There is a choice of brown sauce or ketchup, but it must be ordered before 11am as that’s when breakfast service stops.
Anyone looking for a lunchtime deal can grab the McPlant for just £1.39 this week – a 70 percent saving off the original price.
The plant-based burger is made from a Beyond Meat patty, vegan sandwich sauce, ketchup and vegan cheese, bundled together in a sesame seed bun.
The discounts are available on the app in the ‘offers’ section, just add them to the order.
Customers can then choose their nearest McDonald’s to collect the order from and then choose how to pay upon arrival.
Anyone new to the McDonald’s app can also receive welcome points when they sign up.
McDonald’s is currently offering new customers 1,000 MyMcDonald’s Rewards points for signing up.
Once customers reach 1,500 points they can redeem their first reward.

1500 points earn a small fries, medium salad, regular McCafe drink, mini McFlurry and hash brown or donate £1.50 to one of the partner charities
2500 points and customers can redeem a Vegetable Deluxe, Bacon Mayo Chicken, Cheesy Bacon Flatbread, medium fries, and Double Cheeseburger, or donate £2.50 to one of the partner charities.
4000 points are equivalent to a free Big Mac, Double Sausage and Egg McMuffin, Large Crispy Chicken Salad, 6 Chicken McNuggets and a McChicken Sandwich, or donate £4.00 to one of the partner charities.

As for how customers earn rewards there are four ways; order via the Kiosk, Drive-Thri, Front-Counter or McDelivery.
There are also bonus points to be claimed on selected menu items.
MyMcDonald’s Rewards sees customers earn one point for every penny spent at participating restaurants.
Customers should be aware that points expire on the last day of the 12th month after they have been earnt.
Also new to McDonald’s is the new Monopoly-style game, Winning Sips which gives customers the chance to win free money and food, or even free exclusive McDonald’s merchandise.
Unlike the original McDonald’s Monopoly, customers won’t collect game pieces in Winning Sips from food items.
Instead, stickers will only be available on medium and large soft drinks and milkshakes.
The value of the prizes ranges from a couple of pounds to £10,000.
