When you think of Ben & Jerry’s, you probably picture one of their classic tubs.
Now, at long last, the brand is getting into more portable options.
And no, we’re not talking about ice cream sandwiches.
As of today, Ben & Jerry’s has launched their first take on an ice cream on a stick.
It’s called the Peace Pop, and it’s sure to please fans of the brand’s more traditional flavours.
The treat is made up of vanilla ice cream dotted with chocolate chips, a peace-sign-shaped cookie dough inspired centre, and a chocolate coating, all on a stick so you can take it on the go.
That means no more feeling judged for taking an entire tub with you to the cinema, or faffing about with one of those mini pots with the tiny spoons.
Plus, if you keep a pack in the fridge, you’ve got your ice cream easily portioned out.
That means there’s no need to dirty a bowl or pretend you don’t want to eat an entire tub in one sitting.
Flavour guru Josine Nohlmanssaid: ‘We know people love our cookie dough like their own family or pets.
‘So we reimagined it so they never need to leave home without it. Now they can walk their puppy AND enjoy Ben & Jerry’s. Give me a heck yeah.’
We won’t go that far, but it is pretty exciting news.
If you fancy picking up a pack, you’ll be able to find Peace Pops in Co-op stores from mid-January.
A single product is £2.20, while for £4 you can get a mutipack of three.
Happy feasting.
