IF you are struggling to think of ways to get your little darlings entertained this summer, fear not – we’ve got you covered.

Particularly if you are low on money, you’ve come to the right place, as a smart mum has shared a secret way to nab ‘free’ and ‘absolutely fantastic’ days out for kids this summer.

Even better, there are activities suitable for rain or shine and don’t worry, you won’t need to spend hours driving in the car to get there.

Chloe Strong took to social media to show off her recent free day out, as she posted on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, a private group which has 2.3 million members.

Chloe explained that she took her daughter for a summer event at her local library, whereby her daughter was able to meet an array of animals, including a snake and a tarantula.

She said: “Definitely check out your local council websites/libraries for events on over the summer.
