Charlene, Princess of Monaco and Prince Albert II attended the Monaco Women Forum Awards night which was held at the Hermitage Hotel on Friday evening. The Princess looked immaculate in a brand-new sequinned gown, although not all royal fans liked it.
The awards honour women who work in the digital and technological industries.
Charlene stepped out at the awards dressed in an Akris “sequins on jersey Mock neck gown”.
The definition for this dress says: “Akris gown embellished in allover sequins with a Mock neckline.”
The dress has an invisible back zip, is sleeveless and floor-length, creating the perfect silhouette for Princess Charlene.
In addition, the dress has a side slit to add to the glamour of the whole outfit.
This curve-shaping jersey dress was an incredibly show-stopping outfit for Princess Charlene, with shimmering all-over sequins, a mock neck, and a thigh-high side split.
Unfortunately, the side-slit sequinned gown is no longer in stock, so it is unclear how much the garment cost when purchased.
To accessorise, Princess Charlene wore a brand new pair of incredibly glamorous earrings.

They are described as: “The diamond-set hoops suspending graduated fringes, set with numerous round, baguette, pear and marquise-shaped diamonds weighing 14 carats.”
They can be purchased on Watches of Mayfair for a whopping £77,854.
Many royal fans loved Princess Charlene’s style and took to social media to praise her style.
Instagram user @susylilianacanario said: “The Princess is beautiful.” Another fan, @martine2a2018 added: “Sublime.”
In addition, @iosenge wrote: “She has the best haute jewellery collection in the game.” @vrougreen commented: “I love the sparkles.”
However, @stefanie.prince was less impressed, writing: “Well this must have been the night for bad gown design, the designers and stylists need to be fired as soon as possible, she is beautiful but this gown isn’t, completely wrong for her body shape a stylist should know better.”
Similarly, @rebpat1113 added: “Hair and makeup are lovely but this dress does nothing for her.
“It makes her look shapeless. She has such great style and his dress looks like a sparkly sack.”
Royal fan @chris10_antonites agreed, saying: “Had exactly the same thought. Think she could have gone for a size or two smaller to give it some shape.”
@RoyalPopCulture wrote: “I think her face and makeup and hair look beautiful here. I don’t know but I don’t like when Princess Charlene wears sleeveless dresses with this style.”
@elainesusan26 commented: “It’s a nice dress but maybe some cinching at the waist would’ve given it a better shape or she’s probably more comfortable with looser clothes.”
