PICKING on name for your newborn is hard enough, so it's no wonder parents of twins struggle to choose two.

But one women was left stunned when she came across the matching monikers of a set of twins where she works.


She shared the names on Facebook, and it turns out other parents thought they were awful too.

"The woman wrote: "Gosh y'all I caught a real interesting one today. I work at an IT Help Desk and today I'm talking to a girl and she mentions she's a twin."

"Breyanna and her sister… Breyunna."

But if the rhyming names weren't bad enough it turns out they also have matching middle names too.

The worker explained: "To keep from saying something I'd regret I told her how neat that was and she informed me of their middle names too! Nicole and Lecole."

People couldn't believe any parent would pick such unusual names for the their twins, and many even said their names are the worst they've ever heard.

One commented on the post: "They must have only planned for one kid."

A second joked: "Breyanna Nicole was the planned baby and they definitely let Breyunna Lecole know it."

A third wrote: "Can you imagine being the generic brand version of your sister?"

"They must have a favourite, at least the first is a little better lol," another said.

Meanwhile, other Facebook users shared some of the other interesting twin names they've come across.

"I met a set of twins called Adriana and Adrianna. They were pronounced differently," one said.

Another added: "Reminds me of a former co-worker who named her twins Ariel and Aryelle."
