Kate wore a grey jumper with gold pearl earrings for the chat. She added a petite silver necklace.

Kensington Palace tweeted: “To mark #HolocaustMemorialDay The Duchess of Cambridge spoke with Holocaust survivors Zigi Shipper and Manfred Goldberg about their experiences and memories of the Holocaust, and of its prevailing impact.”

The Duchess said: “The stories you have shared with me, and your dedication in educating the younger generation about your experiences and the horrors of the Holocaust shows extreme strength and such bravery.”

The Duchess wore a pair of earrings she has worn before, in a number of communities.

They are the Simone Rocha Faux-Pearl Curb-Chain Earrings. 

The £349 earrings which are stocked on the likes of Farfetch have become a staple piece in Kate’s jewellery collection.

The description of the earrings reads: “Chunky gold-tone curb-chain links adorned with round faux pearls and finished with post-back fastenings to hold them safely in place.”

These earrings have made a regular appearance in the Duchess’ wardrobe and she first debuted them in a video filmed for the Wildlife Photographer of the Year awards.

She also wore them when speaking to armed force families released to mark Remembrance Day.

For the video appearance, Kate kept casual in a tight crew neck grey jumper which had long sleeves.

She also showed off her newly dyed dark locks, ditching her caramel highlights for a dark brown colour.

The Duchess kept her hair simple with a slight wave and tucked one side behind her ear to show off her stunning earrings.

Kate’s casual jumper had a ribbed effect across the arms and a ribbed panelling effect on the body. 

Sharing the post onto the Cambridge’s official Instagram page, royal fans commented on Kate’s new look.

One person said: “How beautiful is the Duchess of Cambridge?”

Another commented: “Kate looks so gorgeous, I’m loving the hair.”

The Duchess added a dainty necklace to her casual look.
