A BRIDE-TO-BE has been blasted online for body-shaming her sister after dropping her as bridesmaid because she's a size 20 and a "nightmare" to dress.
In a controversial post, which was originally shared on Facebook before being re-posted on Reddit, the soon-to-be bride, from the UK, penned: "This is going to sound so nasty but I'm thinking about dropping my sister as bridesmaid."
"She's an absolute nightmare because of her weight.
"When I asked her what size she was she said size 20 which is completely wrong, she's way bigger than me and I wear between 16-20 clothes."
She went on to say that her sibling seems to think because she can wear size 20 leggings, she can wear size 20 tops – but fails to consider the fact that leggings are stretchy and her top half is "way bigger."

The annoyed woman continued: "She got super on the defence when I said she couldn't possibly be a size 20 and she kept being a nightmare picking dresses that wouldn't be great for her body shape."
"I think she's going to be so hard to dress because of how big she is and how she won't accept she will need bigger dresses."
She ended the candid post by saying she isn't sure what to do and feels "awful" – but added the situation is stressing her out "so much."

"The bride can f**** right off if she’s ashamed of her sister's size and body shaming. Ie – 'there’s no way you’re a size 20,'" wrote one.
"As a human being, let your sister try on the 20 and see if a) she can fit b) how it looks with others offering opinions of the bridesmaid sister wants them."
A second agreed: "Yeah she could have not body shamed, but she literally says 'she's an absolute nightmare because of her weight'.
"This bride cares what size her sister is: she says 'she is going to be so hard to dress because of her size.'"

However, others could see why the bride-to-be was frustrated with her sister.
"I can see why this is frustrating. Wedding sizes are waayyyyyy off street clothes sizes," she wrote.
"If the sister is refusing to try sizes according to her measurements that would definitely lead to clothing not properly fitting and looking good."
Elsewhere, a third offered a different perspective and explained: "She’s not body shaming.
"Her sister is body shaming herself by refusing to wear her actual size and then complaining that things don’t look good on her/she can’t get the dress."
