A MUM of 12 has revealed her simple solution for when she can’t be bothered to plate up 12 meals for her huge brood.

Alicia Dougherty took to TikTok to share her ‘nacho pool’, sharing how she filled an entire 135-litre paddling pool with the Tex-Mex favourite for her 12 kids to share.

Now people are rushing to the comments to praise her genius idea – with one suggesting it’s the best non-pool use of a paddling pool he’s ever seen.

Known online as @doughertydozen, the New York-based mum regularly shares a glimpse at what it’s really like being a parent of 12 kids.

In a new reel, she said: “Nacho pool for my 12 kids.”

During the 26-second reel, Alicia is seen pouring nine huge sharing bags of tortilla chips into a kids’ paddling pool.

Next, she sprinkles over three bags of shredded lettuce, two tins of black olives, and a whole punnet of fresh tomatoes.

Finally, Alicia tops her nacho bowl with two bottles of sour cream.

At the end of the clip, her 12 sons and daughters are seen diving in, each grabbing a handful of the Mexican-inspired dish.
