A WOMAN has revealed that she jetted abroad to get a nose job and while she loves the look of her new nose, it has come with a lot of unexpected complications.
The beauty fan explained that since the plastic surgery, she hasn’t been able to breathe properly through her nose, she has lost her sense of smell entirely and she has even started snoring.
Razia Amini (@razia_r), from Toronto, Canada, took to TikTok to open up about the realities of having a rhinoplasty, leaving many open-mouthed.
She shared her clip with the caption ‘I dont know why no-one talks about the recovery process of a nose job. It’s incredibly uncomfortable.’
She then said: “I got a nose job in Turkey and I'm gonna go through the good, the bad, and the ugly in this video.
“Officially almost three months post-op.

“We're gonna start with the bad and the ugly first, just because I wanna get it out of the way before we focus on the positives of it.
“The ugly is that, honestly, since I got my surgery, I'm not able to breathe through my nose when I'm sleeping.
“So before I had bigger nostrils, which is why I got my nose job to begin with, it was like I could smell anything.
“My breathing was really amazing. But right now I haven't been able to smell properly.

“I've lost my sense of smell pretty much completely.
“And then two, I also snore now, I literally snore now which is crazy, I've never snored before.
“Other ugly is that cleaning my nose is actually so tough, I have to use saline water in addition to Q tips to dig in there and clean it up.
“My nose is pretty much always stuffed up no matter how much I clean it, and that could be due to the fact that I'm in Canada and our weather sucks and I'm really rough, like, I can't really breathe or smell through my nose and I really, really dislike that because it's very uncomfortable.
“And so I can never really tell if someone smells or if I smell, so I have to put extra effort constantly, making sure I'm bathing twice a day, brushing my teeth twice a day, putting on a s**t ton of perfume, putting on all deodorants and stuff.
“Also, I still contour my nose because it is hella swollen and there's literally nothing I can do about that, because it's gonna take six months to a year for the swelling to go down.
“I actually don't have a sense of taste as well, which sucks because I love eating food and so I can't really enjoy some of the foods that I eat because I can't really taste it properly, and this has been the case for a while since I got my surgery.”
However, Razia then explained the benefits of getting her nose done.
She added: “Good, is that I love my freaking nose.
“It is the best thing I've ever done, honestly.
“And I know it's a dangerous surgery, any surgery is dangerous, but I love my nose and I'm so happy with it.
“I'm so happy I went to Turkey, because I feel like Canadian doctors could not have done what my doctor in Turkey did.”
Razia later explained: “Point of the video was to show you guys that the recovery is a lengthy and uncomfortable process cuz no one talks about it.”
Razia’s clip has clearly shocked many, as it has quickly amassed 68.3k views.
It has 3,112 likes, 149 comments and 46 shares.
One person said: “Well worth it all! Your nose is so cute!!!”
Another added: “You sound so congested, but honestly it's still really early post op and it looks amazing.”

A third commented: “I got my nose done in turkey too. I’m 8 months post op. I just got my sense of smell back, and my swelling is 60% gone. Patience is key.”
Whilst someone else noted: “I feel so lucky bc I've also had a rhino[plasty] in Turkey 3 months ago and pretty much none of this happened to me.”
