Five years after his sophomore LP Bloom, Troye Sivan is poised to return with his third studio album. Slated to arrive in October, Something To Give Each Other is billed as a “celebration of sex, dance, sweat, community, queerness, love and friendship.”

The project will follow 2018’s Bloom and the 2020 EP In A Dream. Kicking off the rollout of the album, Sivan shared his new song “Rush” accompanied by an official music video. The summertime dance track is an upbeat, fast-paced anthem ideal for streaming at a beachfront daytime club. Sivan tapped Sergio Reis to choreograph dance sequences for the music video, perfectly matched to the song’s tempo.

“‘Rush’ is the feeling of kissing a sweaty stranger on a dancefloor, a 2 hour date that turned into a weekend, a crush, a winter, a summer,” explains Troye Sivan. “Party after party, after party after party. All of my experiences from a chapter where I feel confident, free and liberated. Independent, yet somehow the most connected to the music and community around me.”

Stream Troye Sivan’s “Rush” and watch the music video above. Something To Give Each Other is out on October 13.
