New Balance continues to thrive within the sneaker industry by providing consumers with a generous amount of striking collaborations. This will be a formula that the brand relies on for the coming months, and one project that has just been brought to light is the Slow Steady Club x New Balance 990v5 collection. The Korean label has linked up with the Boston sportswear imprint to fashion two colorways that are inspired by its ongoing HOTEL990 project.
The first pair in this assemblage leans on earthy tones to outfit its upper. A muted gray tone covers the mesh materials that make up the base while the buttery suede overlays are styled in a faded brown. Notes of charcoal also appear on the N logos and ankle molds while the lower heel piece stands out with a rustic orange outer.
Its counterpart falls on the brighter side of the spectrum. Mesh paneling is dyed with a barely beige tint and comes accompanied by angelic suede overlays to achieve an elevated aesthetic. Heel molds are done up in an off-white tone and come offset with crispy midsoles. Both pairs in this collection are brandished with a Slow Steady Club insignia on the lateral heels.
These are slated to drop via New Balance in Korea on March 25.
