Sandy Liang, after joining forces with Vans in early 2020 for a New York-inspired footwear collection, is reconvening with the Anaheim skate imprint to produce a whole assortment of products dedicated to one of the most iconic animated TV shows: SpongeBob Squarepants. Integrated in this range are two variations of the Vans Sk8-Hi 38 DX as well as a handful of apparel and accessories.

The kicks are surely the headlining pieces of this capsule. One pair of the Sk8-His is ornamented with the standard black toe boxes and side stripes, and is outfitted with blue floral cloud graphics to mirror that of the animated show’s opening theme song wallpaper along with Liang‘s signature white and red checkerboard patterns . Additionally, an actual image of SpongeBob is slapped onto the lower heel. The other rendition is a direct homage to Sandy Cheeks as it bears baby blue and minty green color-blocked uppers that are decorated with multiple pink flowers to translate the look of her helmet’s garnish.

On the apparel lineup is a Summer-ready tan bucket hat that features the hilarious Patrick Star on it, as well as a tee and hoodie that has images of the show’s four main characters in SpongeBob, Patrick, Sandy Cheeks and Squidward.
