Roman Kemp has been left with egg on his face, quite literally, after eating a special Creme Egg worth £10,000.
The Capital Breakfast host, 30, excitedly tweeted Cadbury after discovering a half white chocolate, half milk chocolate version of the popular sweet treat.
‘What is this??? HALF WHITE HALF MILK CHOCOLATE??’ he tweeted, accompanied by a picture of him holding the unusual snack to share with his 300k following.
However, fans were quick to point out that the limited edition creme egg could be worth £10k.
As part of a competition run by the company, 146 half white, half milk chocolate Creme Eggs have been hidden in UK shops as part of its regular Creme Egg hunt.
Six of the eggs in question are worth £10k, and a further three are worth £5k – with their prize revealed after being unwrapped via a ‘winning ticket’ inside.
Joined by Zachary Levi and Dame Helen Mirren as part of the Shazam 2 promotional tour, Zachary accidentally let a curse slip, leading Roman to apologise to listeners at home.
Metro.co.uk contacted Roman’s reps for comment.
