Roger Dubuis has produced a limited run of its Double Tourbillon in a 45mm white ceramic case.
The eight-piece Excalibur Double Tourbillon White Ceramic edition features the Swiss brand’s first case in white ceramic, with contrasting bezel, crown and case-back elements in its proprietary EON Gold alloy.
At the heart of the watch is Roger Dubuis’ hand wound 3Hz RD108 movement that offers a power reserve of 72 hours and channels the output of two titanium flying tourbillons through a differential, to average out their timekeeping performance.
The three-dimensional architecture of the movement is enhanced with a reworked version of the brand’s signature star, which sits above the barrel and – along with its tourbillon cages – is picked out in Super-LumiNova.
The pure white of the case is matched with an embossed white calf-leather strap with Roger Dubuis’ patented Quick Release System.
The Excalibur Double Tourbillon White Ceramic edition is available now via Roger Dubuis, priced $300,000 USD.
