In the 2000 NCAA basketball national championship, the Michigan State Spartans went head-to-head against the Florida Gators and came out with a 89–76 victory. That Spartans team was coached by Tom Izzo and had elite talent like Mateen Cleaves, Charlie Bell and Morris Peterson on its roster. And to honor this moment in sports history, Reebok is bringing back the very kicks that they laced up during that March Madness title game: the Question Mid “Green Toe.”

The color scheme of these retro-inspired kicks is straightforward and matches up with the East Lansing-based school’s official colors. Upper halves are made up of angelic tumbled leather and breathable mesh, the former of which makes up the side panels while the latter is positioned on the throat. This cleaner neutral base allows the “Pine Green” accents do all of the talking. Spartan-friendly accents are then dispersed to the sultry suede toe caps, vector logos on the quarters and tongues, lace loops, heel windows that host the signature Question logos, “3” hits on the lower heels to nod to Allen Iverson and the hexagon pods on the midsoles.

Peep a closer look the pair above and expect Reebok to launch these on March 25 for $170 USD.
