New Balance remains a strong sneaker industry player for its consistency in collaborating with culture-shifting partners, and with 2023 now underway, you can only expect to see more of that. There’s a variety of imprints that the brand plans to revisit, one being Bricks & Wood which is expected to release a New Balance 9060 collaboration. Early leaked images of the kicks first sprung up on our radar last month, and now their official images have finally been loaded.
Kacey Lynch — the LA-based streetwear label’s founder — drowns the uppers of the modern model in neutral tones. Suede overlays, tongues, and N logos are engulfed in a bright cream color, while the exposed mesh underlays are offset with gray. More personality up top is shown off through subtle texture and graphic remixes. The laces have been modified with fuzzy textures while the insoles are coated with green camouflage patterns and Bricks & Wood branding. Curvy midsoles also deliver more flair as they have been styled in cream and accessorized with vivid green pods.
At the time of writing, a release date hasn’t been announced yet but you can likely expect these to hit New Balance and select retailers in the near future.
