New Balance is enjoying a hot streak of 550 collaborations as of late, which has seen link-ups with the likes of Aimé Leon Dore and Joe Freshgoods. Now, the sportswear giant is about to make its “Grey/White” edition of the sneaker available after teasing its first batch of imagery back in May.
Building on the mainstream hype the silhouette has acquired, this latest iteration of the sneaker comes with a leather base coated in white. Introducing mesh collars and tongue units, the customary “550” signature and “N” logo can be spotted in grey on the lateral panels and the heels. Basketball references are embroidered onto the tongue tabs while the white midsole with two-tone grey rubber outsoles finishes off the design.
You can have a closer look at the New Balance 550 “White/Grey” above, and expect them to drop at retailers such as Asphalt Gold imminently for $120 USD.
In other sneaker news, New Balance has delivered a duo of new 725 colorways.
