Between everything that it has going on with its various collaboration partners, Teddy Santis previewing his first MADE IN USA collection and the consistent output of GRs, New Balance is on fire right now. And if there’s one silhouette that is leading the charge for its lifestyle category right now, it’s without a doubt the New Balance 550. This season, the prolific model will be dropping in a wide array of new colorways, and the latest to be unveiled is this clean white and black makeup.

In similar fashion to the popular collaborations with Aimé Leon Dore, this impending variation is makes heavy use of a sail-like tone to dress up a majority of its leather base layer. For a clean and versatile aesthetic, the Boston sportswear brand ushers in subtle-yet-effective notes of black that outline the basketball-leather-infused N logos, collars, “550” branding on the forefoot, the trimming beneath the quarters and the heel’s branding. Moving south, the midsoles are fashioned with a matching sail skin and come planted on top of a three-toned outsole that is fitted with grayscale tones.

New Balance hasn’t confirmed the release date for these just yet, but you can likely find them dropping via its online store in the coming weeks for $110 USD.

In other news, New Balance’s 2002R just released in a “Sweet Caramel” colorway.
