Junk Food Clothing has partnered with quintessential ’80s entertainment cable channel MTV and the NBA for a nostalgic capsule collection for the upcoming All-Star game.
The collection gives fans an opportunity to tap into their favorite childhood memories as well as support their favorite team. In a vintage-inspired collection, teams such as the Golden State Warriors, Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers, Milwaukee Bucks, New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets, Boston Celtics and Chicago Bulls are represented in various crewnecks and t-shirts. The MTV logo is prominently placed on the front of the shirts, where the block letter “M” is filled with a basketball graphic in the corresponding team colors.
Not only does the collection meld together basketball culture with music and fashion, but it utilizes MTV’s famous slogan, “I Want My MTV” on each piece of the apparel item. In recognition of the NBA’s 75th anniversary, Junk Food Clothing has unveiled retro-inspired pieces to commemorate the NBA All-Stars hosted in Cleveland, Ohio this year.
The collection is now available on JunkFoodClothing with pieces retailing for $35 USD for the t-shirts and $65 USD for the sweaters.
