The date for the final episode of Winter Love Island 2023 is said to have been revealed, and it’s just around the corner.
The drama has been heating up in the villa in South Africa this week following the arrival of bombshell Claudia Fogarty, who’s taken a fancy to Casey O’Gorman and Tom Clare.
However, there are apparently just a few weeks left for the islanders to forge strong enough connections to bag the coveted £50,000 at the end of the line.
According to a source, the finale date for the ITV2 series will be coming near the beginning of next month.
The insider told The Sun: ‘There was speculation that the current series might only run for six weeks as that was the format for the first Winter Love Island outing in 2020.
‘By the same token, there was talk last year that the summer series could be extended as ratings were so impressive thanks to the likes of Ekin-Su and Davide.’

However, they added that bosses are planning on sticking to the usual eight-week schedule, meaning that the winners will reportedly be crowned on Monday March 13.
‘That gives the Islanders just four weeks to crack on and find love,’ they added.
While the contestants may be thinking about making it all the way to the end of the line, for one, their time in the villa is set to come to an end tonight.
Last night’s episode confirmed that another recoupling ceremony was on the horizon, meaning that one girl will be dumped from the villa after the boys decide who they want to couple up with.
Meanwhile, after previously getting caught in an argument, Ron Hall and Shaq Muhammad are set to come to blows yet again.
In a preview ahead of Thursday’s instalment, it was revealed that Shaq becomes extremely irritated when he spots that Ron isn’t helping with the cleaning up in the kitchen.
‘No seriously, come on. We’re all washing up and cleaning, so can you get up and have your chat later? Come and clean, we’re all doing it together,’ he quips.
How will Ron respond to being called out for not mucking in?
Metro.co.uk has contacted ITV for comment.
Love Island returns tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
