During Paris Fashion Week in February, KidSuper founder Colm Dillane staged his Fall/Winter 2023 collection with a fully-fledged comedy special at the Casino de Paris. Titled “Funny Business,” the showcase, hosted by Tyra Banks, included a bevy of sets from the designer’s funny friends — Jeff Ross, Yvonne Orji, Stavros Halkias, FARY and Andrew Schultz — all of whom were decked out in KidSuper’s latest wares. Now, Dillane is in the final stages of prepping that collection for public order, with the first drop coming this Friday.

“Some of my favorite pieces to date,” the designer wrote in his announcement on Instagram, alongside the collection’s newly-minted lookbook.

In its inaugural delivery, KidSuper’s collection is bountiful with artful fashions. Blazers are decorated with Dillane’s signature face illustrations, which are crafted with a campy concoction of textiles, while trousers in matching tones host similar artwork on the leg. Denim jackets, arriving with coordinating pants, feature all-over graphics, while knitwear fronts quintessential KidSuper branding, with nods to the label’s Casino de Paris show.

Down the line, button-up shirts don watercolor-like paintings across their full construction, and a pair of jeans features embroidery depicting the edifice of KidSuper’s first store. The collection also includes an array of T-shirts — some emblazoned with the brand’s Kissing Bags, others remembering the collection’s comedy showcase and more illustrating the “KidSuper Museum.” Rounding out the lineup, knit beanies employ the imprint’s running motif, and bright scarves let the art speak for itself.

The first drop from the collection will be available to shop on KidSuper’s webstore on Friday at 11 a.m ET. Take a closer look at the range in the gallery above.
